Less than 1 year since the last item is being a recent record I am thinking. Doing new progress on old games projects is also making new fun. In collaboration with another old developer who recently looks again at his old Jaguar code, there can be some new games. At the same time, BadCoder sees also that Jaguar Studio would be available, but it is not his way. It can be better and quicker but not 100% at home code, so cannot use when original promise was all games without pre-built code.

Over 12 years passed since my last update. This is too long. I am not dead but many years away from the Jaguar machines. Another developer reminding me this exists and sending me links for new Jaguar world. Amazing and I cannot believing always my eyes. So many new games and so many new hardwares, and so many new prices on the Jaguar collection. Now I am not rich man, and these things are not possible for me to try. The Alpine now looks old and dusty and Mac and ALN look old and dusty, and my old DOS development box old and dusty too. Where lives now the Alpine parallel port cable? Where lives now the sources for the tools I used? Return from Mars, archives still exist for my source, but does not build. I make fun with old source of badcode4n which builds to make badcode4r, soon. Graphics palettes tool gone. Graphics compression tool gone. This will be taking me some efforts.

Years are passing since Jaguar was abandoned by Atari so there is no gasping to complete another release, but always coming back to Jaguar with others, I must. Hoping somebody soon is liking something new, but not holding your breath please.

Is coming nicely, small new binary. I have been forgetting my own sources and learning them again. BadCode5 will have to wait, it is broken and I need to having finished something first. A diet of sorts, a friend is telling me so that is what it will be. Even diets can include eggs so I choose the new eggs to put in. Four players in this code, you must have TeamTap to play for 4 players, perhaps I am kind and tell Jaguar it plays the other people, perhaps not. Weathers are too good for coding on summer days, here in the east we get earlier mornings high up, so I am coding then. Have fun! BadCoder.

In hoping to support the fans who are Jaguar festing this coming weekend BadCoder has been joining with another coder these days to give you something new but giving time on this from work and other living is always sharp. Perhaps I cannot give you BadCode5 but I give you something on the way. Perhaps nobody is interested since BadCoder does not plan to sell a game and some people want only boxes and not games for the Jaguar. I am hearing from others good things from email, and so I am supporting when I can.

Lars Hannig, StarCat, has some good news from the Jaguar Underground. He's happy to announce news of another Starcat Developments release.
I am quoting here only.
It's called "Ocean Depths" and it's a collection of three parts. The first part is an relaxing slideshow similar to the popular Nuon program "Ambient Mosters". The second part is an early playable demo of Eerievale. (Based on the version shown on EJagFest 2003, just slightly improved). And the third part is a small game on its own. It's called "JagMIND" and I'm sure most people know the original board game Mastermind, this game is based on the same idea.
Ocean Depths comes in a DVD case similar to the painter release by Sinister Developments and of course also with a great looking CDR lable like it was already done with the Euro JagFest 2001 CD. Ocean Depths is of course fully encrypted and runs on any PAL/NTSC Jag CD unit. It's the first game to make use of the Starcat Developments Mouse Adaptor (originally created by Matthias Domin), which can be purchased at the Starcat Developments Homepage.
To celebrate this release Starcat Developments offers a limited edition Bundle which consists of Ocean Depths, Mouse Adaptor and suitable Mouse for the bargain price of only 45 Euros including shipping worldwide. (Or 40 Euros incl shipping to Germany.) If you want one of these be sure to hurry, because once they are gone, they are gone.
Check it out on the official Starcat Developments Homepage. http://www.starcat-dev.de/

Achieving nothing in the last days but keeping an eye to your interest, and feedback. There is a decision in my head if I should release a small Lines game for the Euro Jagfest, unfinished, but for visitors fun, or work to release BadCode5.
